Therefore, it is necessary to use alternative larvicides from biological plants. Suren leaves (Toona sureni) and lime leaves (Citrus aurantiifolia) contain active substances flavonoids, saponins and alkaloids which are useful for killing Aedes aegypti larvae. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of combination of suren leaf and lime leaf extract in killing Aedes aegypti larvae. This research method is a true experiment with a post-test only control group design. Larvae were divided into 6 groups, namely positive control, negative control, P1 (suren leaf+lime leaves extract 0.5%), P2 (suren leaf+lime leaves extract 1%), P3 (suren leaf+lime leaves extract 1.5%). Each glass contains 25 larvae. The Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test was carried out with abnormal result, the homogeneity test with non-homogeneous results, and the Mann-Whitney test. The results obtained were 99% larval death in the 6th hour by the P3 group. The conclusion of this research is that the combination of suren leaf and lime extracts 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% is effective in killing Aedes aegypti larvae in the 6th hour exposure.</em></p> Rochmadina Suci Bestari Afif Iqbal Hibatullah Talitha Ulima Santoso Devi Usdiana Rosyidah Retno Sintowati Tanjung Anitasari Indah Kusumaningrum ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-06-01 2024-06-01 5 1 21 29 10.53861/lontarariset.v5i1.428 Analysis of Lead (Pb) Content in Cooking Oil Repeatedly by Fried Food Sellers https://jurnal.poltekkesmu.online/lontarariset/article/view/429 <p><em>People have a lifestyle that tends to involve consuming junk food. Fried food is popular among the public because it is fast to serve and easy to obtain. However, the public is less aware of the safety level of fried food sold on the roadside, including fried food sellers' repeated use of cooking oil. Fried food sellers generally operate on the side of the road, where it is highly likely that lead metal (Pb) from dust particles and fumes from passing vehicles will settle in the frying pans and finished fritters. This research aims to determine the levels of Pb in cooking oil repeatedly used by fried food traders around the Muhammadiyah Makassar Health Polytechnic campus. The study was conducted as a laboratory experiment by collecting 10 samples of cooking oil repeatedly used by fried food traders. Based on the results of qualitative tests using the color reaction test method with 10% K2CrO4, 3 samples tested positive while 7 samples tested negative. Subsequently, a quantitative test was conducted by analyzing the Pb levels using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry method. The levels obtained were 0.1317 mg/kg for sample B, 0.2163 mg/kg for sample H, and 0.1589 mg/kg. The maximum allowable limit for lead (Pb) contamination, as stipulated in the Regulation of the Head of BPOM RI No. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 of 2009, is 0.1 mg/kg. Therefore, it can be concluded that cooking oil for frying on the roadside around the Muhammadiyah Makassar Health Polytechnic campus, when repeatedly used, can lead to increased levels of lead (Pb), as evidenced by 3 samples exceeding the maximum allowable limit.</em></p> Wa Ode Rustiah Anita Anita Dewi Arisanti Muawanah Muawanah Mirnawati Mirnawati ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-06-01 2024-06-01 5 1 30 37 10.53861/lontarariset.v5i1.429 Work Accidents among Nurses at Hasanuddin University Hospital, Makassar https://jurnal.poltekkesmu.online/lontarariset/article/view/431 <p><em>A work accident is an event that is detrimental to humans and the production process, and permanent disability or even death caused by a work process.
